Welcome - All Girls/Boys Interested in Rugby
We would like to welcome you to our new spring offering. We strongly feel rugby is a great complementary sport to football, helping in the development of successful football players.
Previous rugby experience is not necessary, we have appropriate placement for all ages, sizes, and experience. Our goal is simple, to teach the great game of rugby in a safe and nurturing environment while creating a love for the sport.
Best of all, our Big Guys have the opportunity to handle and carry the ball.
Spring Schedule
Practices to be held on Tues/Thurs from 6-7 pm at Gilson Park in Wilmette.

All are welcome to attend sessions. A great way to try the sport and see if it is for you. All registered players are encouraged to attend. Great way to start developing new rugby skills needed for success. Opportunity to start bonding with kids and coaches.
Please invite anyone you feel might be interested in rugby. Boys & Girls, ages 7-14. You do not have to be a New Trier school district resident to participate.
Who should be playing Rugby?
We would love to see anyone interested in playing to give it a go. We encourage our kids planning on playing tackle football in the fall as we feel the sport of rugby will help in the continued development of successful football.
Quarterbacks and Receivers are encouraged to also participate in our 7v7 passing league for developmental and evaluation reasons.
Why are you offering Rugby?
We strongly feel rugby is a terrific complement to the development of successful football players. Better yet, Big Guys get to Run the Ball!
What experience is needed to play?
None… we will teach the game and develop the skill sets needed for success.
What levels of play will you offer?

- Rookie (non-contact)
What is the cost to play?
$300 includes uniform.
What is the committment to play?
In our inaugural season of play, we hope to field teams at every play level. We ask that participants are committed to learning the game and try and make every practice and game possible. As always communication with coaches is key in our success.

WELCOME TO SPRING 2024 RUGBY REGISTRATION!
On-line registration is required and will allow you to provide us your player information, contact information, your agreement to consents and policies, and submit payment in full.
DUES: Registration fees for the Rugby Season is $300 and includes custom uniform kit. Players are to provide their own mouth guards and cleats. No equipment needed.
