As we begin 2021 we remain cautiously optimistic that we can get back to some normalcy over the next few months. As of now, our program is not offering any winter programs. We recommend that you use this time to get better and start preparing for the upcoming season. Many are working with local trainers. You might want to consider our friends at TCBoost in Northbrook who offer speed, strength and agility training.

Our board is working closely with our local park district to possibly offer spring flag or tackle football. We will update our families as soon as we know anything further. Please check back regularly and follow us on Facebook.

We regretfully announce the suspension of our 2020 fall tackle season. We encourage all tackle participants to checkout our flag offering for the fall season. We remain hopeful of a possible spring tackle opportunity with our league if appropriate and allowed.

We will be offering a non-contact fall football experience that follows new state restrictions and guidelines . Concentrating on continuous football development with weekly practices and Sunday scrimmages while staying safe. Further details will be shared with our participating families.

The Health and Safety of our Young Athletes isĀ our #1 Priority

The game of football has never been safer and we continue to implement new policy creating a better and safer game. Some of our efforts include; certified trainers at all practices and games, restricting contact during weekly practices and continued investment in new tools and equipment to teach proper techniques safely such as Tackle Wheels.  All drills are age appropriate and closely monitored by our certified coaching staff. Our coaches are required to complete yearly Heads Up Football certification, Advance Concussion Awareness and attend Positive Coaching Alliance orientation . Our league, TCYFL has one of the strictest safety policies in the country. We continue to be a leader in improving our game to make it safer. Most recently our league has adopted new modified kickoff rules. Our sport of football is truly changing to become a much safer game. We invite you to come visit us at practice and see what Northshore Trevians Football is all about.

Please Practice Social Distancing and Wear your Mask
Our program will be following all restrictions and guidelines set in place by the state of Illinois. Our coaches are required to wear face coverings at all times. Participants are asked to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when possible although they are not required to wear face coverings during play.  Parents are responsible to make sure their child is not running a temperature before sending to any program activities.  Any participant that shows signs of illness will be sent home immediately. We will be providing disinfectant stations at all scrimmages including hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray. Parents are welcome to watch practices and scrimmages from a distance while practicing social distancing. Parents are not allowed on playing fields during practices or scrimmages. Face coverings are REQUIRED at all times while at the Winnetka Park District facilities. Anyone not following posted and shared guidelines will be asked to vacate the premises.

During these challenging times we send our very best to our Trevian Football Community. Please continue to do your part in keeping us all safe by continuing to practice proper social distancing and wear a mask when appropriate. Thank you in advance.
